Jack Kerouac has fled from America in light of the sudden success of his On The Road popularity. He needs time to think about his future. Jack faces a choice – give up writing and return to the sanity of a normal life or continue with the literary circus.
Maggie Green stumbles into a hotel bar after a disastrous hen night. The same bar where Kerouac is drowning his sorrows. Maggie faces an equally dramatic choice – pursue her dream to study literature or marry her childhood sweetheart and settle down.
