NEWS FROM THE COMMUNITY AND EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
If you’re running the Great Manchester Run on Sunday 16 May and are unsure about which charity to support, why not consider the Manchester Library Theatre Development Trust? The Library Theatre is soon on the move, and your support is more valuable than ever in helping deliver outstanding drama and an extensive community and education programme.

All donations to the Manchester Library Theatre Development Trust (charity reg. no. 1099215) are used to support our productions and to deliver community and education projects to people of all ages across Manchester.

For as little as £125, we can deliver a two-hour drama workshop to a class of 30 school children in one of Greater Manchester’s poorest districts, or a creative writing project for socially-isolated pensioners, or a communication skills session for young people at risk of educational exclusion. Choosing us as your nominated charity for the Great Manchester Run will make a real difference. You can be assured that 100% of any money raised will be used to support the cost of some wonderful projects. No deductions will be made for administration or other fees.

As an added bonus, Library Theatre fan Kieran O’Donovan of city centre physiotherapy and sports injury clinic Jump Physio is generously offering entrants raising money for the Manchester Library Theatre Development Trust a 50% discount for treatment of any running-related injuries you may sustain during training!
